About

We started as a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators who love to get creative and share what they love with a variety of paper craft challenges.  We have grown from there to include stampers and artists with varied interests and talents. This blog does contain affiliate links to help support the cost of maintaining the website. We do not receive compensation in the form of stamping or crafting products from any other company or entity.

We welcome you to use any brand or products you like in our challenges. Our aim is for you to get over to your stamping area and create while enjoying the atmosphere of open interaction on Creative Sketches

Every week we will feature a new type of challenge.
Week 1 – Sketch only
Week 2 – Color Inspiration only
Week 3 – Technique plus Sketch
Week 4 – Holiday/Celebrations plus Sketch
Week 5 – Anything goes – You can go way out of the box here!
(in any month that has a fifth week)

Winners will be featured on our blog until the next challenge of it’s type.  Thanks for playing! We will not start choosing winners of each week until March 2011, since the year is already slipping away. The projects submitted must follow the sketch plus any other COLOR, TECHNIQUE, or HOLIDAY requirement. Week 2 of each month is the only week there will not be a sketch requirement.

There is a link at the bottom of each post for you to play along and create your own version of each week’s sketch. Please be sure to “test your link”, so we can go check out your artwork! If we can’t find you, we’ll miss out and YOU’LL MISS OUT! At the end of each month after all the winners for the month have been announced, one LUCKY stamper will be picked for the monthly winner and she will receive a little prize from design team! So be sure to make sure your links WORK!  We will pick a winner for the first 4 weeks of the month only, since there are only a few months with 5 weeks. So play along with us!!
